Let’s take a look at my daily snapshots of what I read today.

Read#1

My first read today was so intense that it woke me up without needing my morning tea. I found that I ended up reading only medical topics, which I’m particularly interested in. I wish I hadn’t read the story, but it’s a harsh reminder of how deeply flawed our society can be.

On August 9, 2024, Kolkata was shaken to its core. Dr. Moumita Debnath, a 31-year-old postgraduate trainee at R. G. Kar Medical College and Hospital, was found brutally raped and murdered. This isn’t just another headline. It’s a horrifying wake-up call that we can’t afford to ignore.

I agree, this terrible event highlights how much work we still need to do to protect people and make sure justice is served. It’s a call for everyone to come together and make meaningful changes to prevent such tragedies from happening again.

Read#2

My second read was less intense; it focused on whether we can trust BMI as a measure of obesity.

My writing revolves around topics of self improvement and mental health concerns. My love for nature shines through as I often discuss about trees and outdoors.
